What does your Sun sign, Moon sign & Rising sign say about you?
Here's the answer:
Every astrological sign is ruled by a God, Goddess or Demi God in Western Astrology, a certain age and psychological bend are also highlighted with each individual sign...this blog delves into that and so much more...
Your Sun sign is whom you have the "potential" to be, there is no guarantee you'll reach the zen like state you're capable of...
Your Moon sign is whom you are emotionally (not too many people see that side of you)...
Your rising sign is how other people see you and view you...
This blog will tell you about your potential, emotional needs/desires/habits and how you're perceived by other people.
If you don't know what your Sun, Moon and Rising signs are (which you can find on the internet for free) then you may email me here on Keen and for $3 dollars I will send you the answer (you'll need to email me your birth date, birth location and PRECISE birth time).
Once you have your list then you can read on, for an example I will share my signs...
My Sun Sign is Sagittarius (I have the potential to be a Sagittarius).
My Moon Sign is Virgo (Emotionally I am a Virgo).
My Rising Sign is Scorpio (I am viewed by others to be a Scorpio and to exhibit their traits).
Now that I've listed my signs I will simply scroll down and read under Sagittarius, Virgo and Scorpio keeping in mind that I only have the "potential" to be a Sagittarius, that I am most certainly a Virgo and that no matter what I do I will always "appear" to be a Scorpio...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Key:
Sun Sign (YOUR POTENTIAL)
Moon Sign (WHOM YOU REALLY ARE)
RISING SIGN (HOW YOU APPEAR TO BE)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Aries (Sun, Moon or Rising)~ The Ram
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Childhood (is important to the Aries)
1st Quadrant: Prone to be focused on the "Self", the Ego and Balance- a.k.a. OBJECTIVE
Element: Fire (dramatic, intense, loud)
Psychological: Prone to Anti Social Behavior (this is good for their business, they make great CEO's)
God: Ares for the Greek or Mars for the Roman
Goddess: Athena for the Greek
Literature that appears to be an Aries: Don Quixote & Jo (from Little Woman)
You're entrepreneurial, you love to argue (for the sake of it!) and debate, some would say you lack compassion, you have an ability to multitask and a propensity for being your Mothers favorite child though you typically favor your father. You're often times attracted to blondes and damsels in distress if you're a man and if you're a woman you typically favor men in distress. In any case you're heroic, strong and intellectual. Xena Warrior Princess and Superman would both be Aries if we knew their signs!!! Working as your own boss is assured here!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Taurus (Sun, Moon or Rising)~ The Bull
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Adolescence is an important time in the life of all Taurus
1st Quadrant: Prone to be focused on the "Self", the Ego and Balance-a.k.a.-SUBJECTIVE
Element: Earth (stable, patient, loyal)
Psychological: Prone to be too possessive and also gluttonous when depressed & too shallow (shallow only if you're a woman)
God: The Male Flower Gods: Adonis, Hyacinth & Narcissus
Goddess: All of the Nymphs!!!
Literature that appears to be a Taurus: Dorian Grey & Coraline (yes, the little girl)
This is my favorite sign, all of my best friends are Taurus and there is a reason for that, it's because they're the best! :) In other news Taurus will ultimately be rich in their lifetime. Their home and hearth will be something extra ordinary (if not already...). They're loyal, SENSUALIST, who play for keeps- with love, friends and family. There's no sign that will protect you more so than a Taurus (okay..maybe a Capricorn, which is one of their best romantic matches!). Taurus women tend to have crazy mothers, Taurus men tend to have a crazy fathers. A fear of aging is very real for the women born under this sign, which is odd considering the age so wonderfully! Big money is assured here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Gemini (sun, moon & rising) ~ The Twins
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Teenage Years (are pivotal for the Gem's)
1st Quadrant: Prone to be focused on the "Self", the Ego and Balance-a.k.a. - a little objectivity & a little subjectivity makes Gemini crrraaazzzyyyyyyyy....(they are...).....
Element: Air (social, communicative & diplomatic)
Psychological: Addicted to something or someone "new" - forever and ever, amen. Too flighty & sporadic. Difficult time committing and following thru...
God: The Winged Mercury- god of communications (and thieves...)
Goddess: Eris- Goddess of discord (she likes to stir the pot and make the other Goddesses' feisty...for amusement of course!)
Literature that appears to be a Gemini: Robin Hood (yep, a good guy thief, who is admittedly a bit bad too) & Tinker Belle (yep, from Peter Pan! Naughty but nice, who could stay angry at a cute, wee fairy?!?).
Gemini's are mechanically inclined, boy or girl and they're constantly seeking new things to try- typically this manifest in their romantic life, which unless balanced by an earth or water sign is likely to be a bit of a revolving door. They're interested in learning about the "new" things out there as well, inventions, news, politics- it's all fascinating to the Gemini who stays up to date on current events. Gemini's love to talk, even the shy one's won't shut up once they get to know you. A close or strange relationship with their neighbors and/or siblings as a child will influence Gemini's for the long haul of their life. This is the Jack of all trades but master of none sign (unless balanced by water or earth!) and they're guilty more often than not of throwing the baby out with the bath water at times...but they're quickly forgiven, they're ruled by the prankster God/Goddess after all! Moving homes more than most people is assured here!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Cancer (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Crabs
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Late Teen/Early Adulthood is the most important time for Cancer
2nd Quadrant: Emotions, Sensitivity & Empathy - emotions, their own and those nearest and dearest
Element: Water (deep, strong, emotional)
Psychological: Prone to Mother (even if a male) to the point of smothering the one(s) they love. Too responsible and too emotional.
God: The Consort God Deucalion (whom marries his mother)
Goddess: Themis (Mother Goddess)
Literature that appears to be a Cancer: Noah for the men & Cinderella for the ladies (rags to riches and all Ladies!) <3
Cancer's are the nurturers of the zodiac, you know one is around if you spot the person who is trying to take care of everyone (unless they've got a fire sign somewhere in their chart that makes them one of the very, very, very few Cancers out there that aren't walking pharmacies or restaurants). The Cancers are so responsible and so gifted with an innately psychic bend themselves that they are constantly in motion. Typically the foundation that keeps the family together is them and them alone. Always one for rising up from their troubled child hoods (if a woman) the Cancer eventually makes or joins the perfect family. If there is such thing as being too responsible then Cancer takes the cake. You'll know a Cancer is mad at you when they suddenly check into their shell and refuse to communicate, also check for the phases of the moon as the full moon makes Cancers go a bit "coo-cuckoo" - same with new moons!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Leo (Sun, Moon & Rising) ~ The King's & Queen's (aka- the Lions)
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Early adulthood into early 30's are important time's in the Leo's life
2nd Quadrant: Emotions, Sensitivity & Empathy- Sensitivity- notably to their own pride
Element: Fire (dramatic, intense, loud)
Psychological: Pretentious. Ruled by the Sun, Leo's often think those of us without Leo in our chat revolve around them (they're usually right though! hehe!)
God: Helios - the Paternal God of Fatherly Love
Goddess: Artemis- Protector Goddess
Literature that appears to be a Leo: Huck Finn & Anne of Green Gables
Leo's are always the center of attention, even the few shy one's that are out there. Something about them makes them shine and stand out, just like the Sun they're ruled by. Fond of music, this is the most common sign for a talented musician to be born under. Children will play a pivotal role in the life of the Leo at some point or another. Gifted with the gift of creativity there are no boring Leo's out there. Leo's one downfall is a tendency to only consider themselves and their own feelings when in a relationship, they learn to consider others as they age but they have a tendency towards being egotist (partly due to their never ending fanfare).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Virgo (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Virgin's
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Mid to Late 30's are key times for Virgo's
2nd Quadrant: Emotions, Sensitivity & Empathy- Empathy is Virgo's Achilles heel, they've got too much of it
Element: Earth (stable, patient, loyal)
Psychological: Prone to be anxious, nervous and a bit O.C.D. (think neurotic)
God: Hephaestus, clay maker God
Goddess: Demeter (or Kore)- Goddess of the Harvest
Literature that appears to be a Virgo: Jane Eyre for the Ladies & Job from the Bible for the gents'!
Virgo's primary reason for existence is to be of service to others, unlike Pisces its not a need to martyr it's a need to help others that fuels them. Virgo's have a natural connection with animals and plants, they make the 2nd best garners in the zodiac (Scorpio is #1). They're kind, generous and obliging but after being made into a doormat so many times by the same person they will eventually snap and when they do they're critical and outright mean. Fortunately, it's typically a long time coming before they unleash their tongue! Sensual and loyal Virgo's once settled into a comfortable relationship will never leave, this bodes well for unions with other earth signs (taurus, virgo and capricorn).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Libra (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Scales
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Late 30's to mid 40's is the key time in Libra lives
3rd Quadrant: Intellect, Investigation and Philosophy - the Intellect is the driving force for Libra
Element: Air (social, communicative & diplomatic)
Psychological: Depression from their own high ideals not manifesting in reality (lower the bar!) lol
God: Eros (a.k.a. Cupid!)
Goddess: Aphrodite, Goddess of Love and Cupid's Mama!
Literature that appears to be a Libra: Pip from Great Expectations & Juliet (from Romeo & Juliet)
Libra's are very visually centered, they need to see things and appreciate beauty more than most other signs (not more than Aries!). They're diplomatic, great negotiators and make good lawyers due to their ability to see both sides in any argument (any argument NOT involving them that is...). They're typically children who were placed in the middle of their parents marriage, this is sometimes traumatic as often their parents split up and they're left feeling they failed in negotiating their parents marriage- which, was never their responsibility! A sense for greener pastures stays with Libra until late in life, sometimes they go in search of it but it always seems to be fleeting. Libra's always find their soul mate and they also always have at least one enemy (that's known to them).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Scorpio (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Scorpions...
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Mid 40's to mid 50's is a key point in Scorpio lives
3rd Quadrant: Intellect, Investigation and Philosophy- for Scorpio's that means investigation, detective work and never trusting...
Element: Water (deep, strong, emotional)
Psychological: Paranoid, distrustful and vengeful
God: Hades (God of the Underworld)
Goddess: Persephone (Goddess of Destruction for the seasons)
Literature that appears to be a Scorpio: Dr' Seuss and his chracter the "Grinch" - perfect Scorpio in literature for the men, for the women I say Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind (if you've got a problem with that then "Frankly my Dear, I don't give a damn!)
Scorpio's...mysterious...alluring...so knowledgeable or are they? You only get to see and experience what the Scorpio wants you to see...something to keep in mind as they test people more than others. They test for trust and they test to see if you're worthy of letting into their small circle of "real" people...no sycophants or frauds allowed. Patient, prudent and calculating Scorpio's are passionate in whatever they choose to do (or they simply won't do it). They're sexual and have issues with shared resources, either being exploited for what they own or exploiting others. This is the best sign to be or to have on your side and the absolute worst to have as an enemy...It is the sign of death and destruction. Death plays a big role in their day to day living. Taboo is a keyword for Scorpio...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Sagittarius (Sun, Moon or Rising)~ The Centaurs
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Mid 50's to early 60's is a key point in a Sagittarius
3rd Quadrant: Intellect, Investigation and Philosophy- Philosophy... Sage's favorite subject, they fully accept that they know nothing.
Element: Fire (dramatic, intense, loud)
Psychological: High Strung & Anxious
God: Zeus - God of the Gods
Goddess: Hera - Goddess of Marriage
Literature that appears to be a Sagittarius: Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights for the men & Lady Godiva for the Ladies.
Sagittarius is the globe trotter of the zodiac, spiritually open and expansive (thanks to their ruling planet Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion). They're open minded to the extreme, nothing will shock these folks. Typically more academically inclined then other signs (Sagittarius rules academia) they're often found with their nose in a book. Forgiving and generous they make wonderful friends. It's very hard to tied down a Sage romantically however, it doesn't help that they're the sign of the hunter...they won't be sitting around if a stampede shows up...UNLESS you're the Hera to their Zeus, or Zeus to their Hera that is. International travel is assured with this placement so is a belief in the after life even if you're not certain which after life that is! Like Zeus and Hera, Sagittarius can be hot heads, however, they shoot verbal arrows not physical one's and quickly are over it once they've hit their mark.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Capricorn's (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Sea Goats
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Early 60's to mid 60's is a key point in Capricorn's life
4th Quadrant: Atonement, Charity & Spirituality- Cap's use what they have, they don't look for more or new. Atonement is a keyword for Capricorn.
Element: Earth (stable, patient, loyal)
Psychological: An elitist, it makes life difficult because they'd rather complain rather then let new people in that would be better for them, or new jobs or new anything really. Also, they detest competition and would rather quit then lose.
God: Cronus-Saturn (the Fallen God, you get 12 days of Christmas with him though!) :D
Goddess: Rhea- Cronus (The Grandmother of the Gods)
Literature that appears to be a Capricorn: Holden from the Catcher in the Rye for the Misters out there & Mary Poppins for the ladies
Cap's are addicted to their reputation, their career and their family. They hate changes to their routine and day to day affairs and can often times be "grumpy". To some it may seem they prefer to complain rather to take the changes that are available to them...which, would ease their complaints. Nonetheless, Cap is loyal and steadfast, they'll stay the course no matter what...Popular and well liked by everyone Cap's can put people at ease and make others feel comfortable, this works for them as it's the key to networking. Capricorn's are known to be the social ladder climbers on the zodiac- it goes both ways- those born into a family of high esteem will typically marry down, those born on the wrong side of the tracks typically marry UP! Capricorn's enjoy retirement more than their childhood. Woo-whoooo! They're also found of their yester years even when they're only 5, 15, 25, 35 or 40....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Aquarius (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Waterbearers
*Masculine Sign (i.e.-more aggressive & selfish)*
Age: Late 60's to early 70's is a key time in Aquarius life
4th Quadrant: Atonement, Charity & Spirituality- Giving to Charity is the key note of the Aquarius, helping mankind.
Element: Air (social, communicative & diplomatic)
Psychological: Into degradation and masochism until late in life!
God: Uranus (haha!) the Sky God :)
Goddess: Hebe (Goddess of Negotiation)
Literature that appears to be an Aquarius: Merlin from King Arthur for them men & Laura Ingels from Little House on the Prairie for the Women
That friend you have that says whatever comes to their mind and gets away with it, that's likely an Aquarius. They're also the 1st one's lend a hand to a good cause and they (like Libra) root for the underdog in most instances. IT's typical for Aquarius to interact with people in a high and low social standing- they're constantly able to go between their wide array of friends as though they were all equal (and they are to the Aquarius). Giving assistance and helping humanity is what drives Aquarius, however, for some reason romantically and in family relationships they tend to be degraded and accepting of that- guard against that and don't accept it!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Pisces (Sun, Moon & Rising)~ The Fishey's
*Feminine Sign (i.e.-more passive & selfless)*
Age: Early 70's up to the end is the key time for Pisces
4th Quadrant: Atonement, Charity & Spirituality- Finding or losing your religion/spirituality - likely both is paramount to Pisces
Element: Water (deep, strong, emotional)
Psychological: Prone to depression & addiction
God: Poseidon (God of the Sea)
Goddess: Triple Goddess- A little bit Hera, a Little bit Aphrodite & a Little bit Athena
Literature that appears to be a Pisces: Uncle Tom for the men & the Virgin Mary from the Bible
The empathic fishey's sense without seeing, hear without listening and know without knowing. They pick up on everything that's going on with everyone around them, it's because of this that avoiding unsavory company is advisable. The most compassionate of all the signs the Pisces is usually put in a position wherein someone is harming them throughout their life, what's strange is they also tend to always have another person who is in some way "supporting" them (typically financially). Pisces oscillate between major successes and major failures. It's due to their duality and that's why they're typically depicted as 2 fish swimming in either direction- either sinking to the bottom or soaring out of the surfaces and treading water. Pisces will have paranormal experiences in their lifetime, typically in childhood. Ghostly encounters assured.
